Ownership is the investor's: the property is acquired and held in the investor's name.

Operation is Oregon Farm Partners's responsibility: sourcing, developing, running and eventually exiting the asset.

Governance means the investor retains decision authority over the objectives, the capital committed and the key strategic decisions of the investment.

Reporting is how the investor stays informed: regular, structured information about the property's performance, without needing to manage the operation personally.

Separating these four roles is what allows an investor to hold a direct, physical asset in Brazil without being exposed to the day-to-day operational burden of running it.

Define investment objectives, available capital and investment horizon.
Review and approve key strategic decisions.
Maintain independent legal and tax counsel in their own jurisdiction.

What this model is not

Not a fund. There is no pooled capital and no fund fee structure.
Not a brokerage. Oregon Farm Partners does not simply arrange a transaction and step away.
Not passive land sales. The objective is a professionally operated asset, not a land transaction alone.
